Get To Know Me

I'm a fun loving, authentic, and passionate individual who loves Jesus, time spent in the sun, and being surrounded by people I love. I majored in Spanish Education in college, which gave me a huge passion for language and culture. Connecting with people is a core value of mine, whether through travel, serving with students in my church, or learning the love story of a new couple. You can often find me editing with an iced chai, exploring new cities, or baking cookies for my roommate!

My love for capturing life on video started in high school in order to relive and reminisce on fond memories with my close friends. Later, it grew into documenting adventures of travel through college years and has continued to evolve. Now, I hold a passion for storytelling and creating tangible memories from authentic moments in life.

I believe we were all created in the image of God who is the ultimate creator and storyteller and each of us were created with our own unique gifts. As a result, keeping God at the center of Megan Mackenzie Films is deeply important to me. Creating through film is a story that I see Jesus writing in my own life. He placed this passion in me, and I want to use it to be a creative for the creator and show the love of Jesus through my work.

In every stage of the process, whether chatting with you for the first time, walking alongside you both on your day, and in the editing and final delivery of the film, it is my goal to display love and intentionality in telling the story that God is writing in your lives. No matter what your belief system may be, your love is uniquely special and tells its own inspiring story. It would be my honor to come alongside you to tell your story and capture every feeling so the memory of the love you share and the legacy you're building can be cherished and shared forever.
